Michael has been practicing bodywork since 1996. He taught anatomy and physiology, bodywork, and client assessment at the Baltimore School of Massage for many years and is currently a member of the faculty at the Community College of Baltimore County in their Massage Therapy Program. His curious nature combined with my skill and experience as a bodyworker led him to the development of Direct Muscle Release™, an assessment and treatment process that he teaches to other bodyworkers, as well as a unique treatment for surgical scars.

What to Expect During a Treatment with Michael
Michael’s goal is to give you relief from the pain or other symptoms that brought you in for treatment and to help you find greater physical balance and ease. His work is gentle and purposefully not painful. He prefers to work with your body and not against it.
Each session will include a visual and hands-on assessment, treatment, and simple suggestions for self-care. He will also help you ergonomically, that is, he will show you how to use your body more effectively in your daily life and in your work.
