Acupuncuture is a natural healing art that originated over 3,000 years ago in China. Despite it's ancient roots, Acupuncture is still used by over 1/3 of the world's population as a primary form of health care.
Linda graduated in 2004 from the TAI/Sophia Institute with a Master's degree in Five Element Acupuncture.
Linda has practiced Five Element Acupuncture since 2004.
Five Element Acupuncture
Five Element Acupuncture uses the movement of the fundamental elements of creation - wood, fire, earth, metal, and water - to restore Life's natural movement. When these five elements within us are balanced and harmonious we experience health and well-being. When balance is not present our Qi, will not flow smoothly. In time, this can lead to physcial and emotional symptoms, injury or illness. As a practioner, I use the energetic principles found in this movement to treat the root of underlying imbalances, rather than only the symptoms, to restore health and well-being for my patients.
Many people who have received Five Element Acupuncture say:
- they are sick less often and recover more quickly
- when they do get sick their symptoms diminish or disappear
- they just feel better and have a greater experience of ease & well-being
- have increased vitality and stamina
- have a reduction in long-term health care costs
Aroma Acupoint Therapy™
Aroma Acupoint Therapy is a gentle, completely safe and yet profoundly effective treatment modality that utilizes the energetic potential held within pure essential oils. Treatment involves placing particular oils on specific acupoints or reflex zones on the body in order to trigger energetic changes in the individual that will bring them back to a state of balance.
How does Aroma Acupoint Therapy™ Work?
The basic premise is that essential oils, being energetically just as active as acupuncture points, have the ability to stimulate the points in a similar way as needles. However, the difference between them lies in the fact that unlike acupuncture needles, essential oils are also able to provide a content of information to the point that will suggest a particular type of therapeutic action. The synergy of an essential oil’s energetic content and the energetic gifts of an acupuncture point combine to create a more significant clinical effect than using either of these treatment methods alone.
